In 2008, Terrell Materials was tasked to manufacture 200,000 cubic yards of Portland Cement Concrete pavement, for Walsh Construction, on an important, high profile project -  the new runway 10C-28C West project at O’Hare International Airport.
 
Terrell Materials not only produced as required but exceeded all expectations.  Manufacturing concrete airside at one of the world’s busiest airports requires excellent coordination, safety and a strict attention to detail.  Terrell Materials averaged nearly 3,000 cubic yards per shift and had less than 12 rejected loads of concrete for quality on the entire project. 

Terrell’s ability to manage and coordinate deliveries in limited space while producing incredible quantities demonstrated our ability to perform at the highest levels.
