FOUNDED IN 2005...
History
by Pat Terrell, a former NFL player and airline pilot. Pat earned a football scholarship to Notre Dame under legendary coach Lou Holtz and then spent 10 years in the NFL as a star free safety. However, he always had the entrepreneurial spirit and developed his interest and experience in concrete and construction during his youth, apprenticing at his father's petroleum supply and uncle's concrete company, and spending his football off-seasons working in construction.
When Pat retired from the NFL, he spent his next five years as an international airline pilot for ATA airlines and in his spare time, he put together his business plan for his ultimate dream - Terrell Materials. Terrell materials launched in 2005 focusing on heavy civil construction and built on it's founding principles of providing dependable service with experienced personnel and quality equipment.
Terrell Materials is headquartered in Westmont, IL and is DBE Certified in 9 states. TODAY
“I knew this industry niche was there in heavy-highway fast-track work. I also knew that a lot of our airports would need to be rebuilt and expanded. The key is to provide high-quality and dependable service in that niche"
